The 36-year-old had one of his teammates in the national team, Rodrigo De Paul, famously dubbed his 'bodyguard', visit him in the company of David Beckham, who shared the photo on Instagram.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder, in an interview with FIFA, claimed he could go to war for his national team captain if he asked him to, exemplifying the level of love and respect between the two.

Sports Brief reported that Jordi Alba made his Inter Miami debut, coming off the bench in the second half of the 3-1 victory over Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup.
